Description
After quite a long lack of updates I finally managed to render something again
This was actually meant to be a little modeling practice and anatomy study for the human hand bones. Further this is my first attempt on serious texturing
It was not supposed to be posted here but somehow the result turned out quite nice.

the bright blue pencil stands out incredibly well agaisnt the aged-looking bones. I thought this was a photo using one of those Hallowen skeletons.. until I looked at the category

That's very cool and color range is far since dark brown and sky blue/ white is drasticly far. It's a good thing it's a daily feature!!!

Do you really hold your pencil like that? The index finger looks wrong to me, but it could just be because I'm double jointed. It really is cool, but I think the bones are a bit too thick

It would maybe have been a bit more real, if you could have made the pencil less CG and more photoreal, like you did the hand...
But I definitely like this!

Very cool. ^_^ I like the layout of the image as a whole, and the texture on the bones is really excellent overall, though there are a couple of spots where the "bone" is a little smooth in relation to the rest of the hand. It's only in about two spots where the "bone" is sort of flat-looking compared to the others... but it's not really noticeable. Truthfully, it only makes itself obvious in one spot. I think it still works with the picture, though... and other that that, the shading and texture is wonderful. I'd only like to offer one suggection-- the "hand" seems to lack tangible weight.

Holy freaking crap. First off, me trying to figure out 3d progs such as 3ds Max, I have a huge appreciation of this. Secondly, me being the anatomy freak I am loves the hand for itself too. Awesome job.

I dont say this often, but WELL DESERVED Of a DD. the fact that from far away it looked like an actual bone hand, and even up close, and the pencil and shadowing. This just really rocks!
