Description
For ' contest.... [link]to design a monster that would be at home in the post-apocalyptic western US setting of her comic to be.
So I give you Antilocapra Americana Vepribus
the Pronghorn Antelope, as mutated by toxic waste/nuclear residue.
-Basically whatever genes that are responsible for bone growth have gone into overdrive, causing horns to grow not only in their usual location on the skull, but also from other bones on the body- like along the spine, scapula, etc.
-Coloration is paler than its past relations, and some near-albino variants have been spotted, though they are rare.
-Eyes of every species member are lighter colors, and there are two sets of eyes- the high-set, larger side-facing eyes, as well as the smaller, more low-set forward-facing eyes. In addition to the species' already impressive natural speed, the additional eyes allow for more range of visibilty, allowing excellent predator-avoidance capabilities.
-most likely due to experimental gene splicing, Antilocapra Americana Vepribus bears tusks, like those of the musk deer/chinese water deer. These tusks, combined with the horns and additional bone-spikes, make Vepribus fairly fiesty prey.
-Antilocapra Americana Vepribus lives both on plains and on the borders of deserts. It remains an herbivore, but has a very hardy stomach, allowing it to eat tainted, and otherwise poisonous grasses, shrubs, etc.

woah this is really cool. I love the concept and the execution! Nice, easy to follow style that really captures the different aspects of the Pronghorn Antelope. Did you use references for the different angles?
beautiful work! Good luck!

Thank you very much!
Yes I used reference!
I'm hopeless without it when it comes to animals whose forms I am not very familiar with XD

I love pronghorn, they are so unique. This is a very interesting entry, I like when people make things that aren't always deadly to what humans might be around them and more of just altered variants of prey mammals they could hunt.
I like the double set of eyes a lot!
