Description
This took me forever to due, it was so big I had to take 4 pieces of paper and tape them together! I took it apart in order to scan it into my computer, although the scanner must have been off cause one of the parts didn't connect back right. The size also caused some loading problems so I lowered the size to cost less memory. Thought i post the sketchIt's gonna look awesome when finished. It's THE largest of my digimentals digivolutions....not sure if he should be out of control or in control though personality wise.
AncientGostirmon
Gostir/Gorsthir a dragon of Morgoth from the notes of J R.R. Tolkien
Title: The suffocation of Darkness
Attribute: Virus
Level: Armor (Champion)
Type: Ancient dark drakes
Digiegg / Digimental of Darkness
Family: Wind Guardian, Dragon’s Roar, nightmare soldiers
Attacks:
Point of Corruption: His exposed digicore powers up giving off a harsh dark sheen before giving off a powerful beam of dark corrupting force. It corrupts data of enemies causing pain.
Encompassing Devastation: It’s belly begins to give off a bright harsh sheen that travels up to its chest where it reaches its digicore, from there it gets charged by it, once it reaches its mouth it gives off a wild dark flame from its maw releasing in a smothering wave upon it’s foe(s).
Malignant Intent: Whips it long whip like tail at its opponent with extreme force leaving deep grooves with it’s bone spurs or constricting its foe’s body.
Info: AncientGostirmon are a digimon from a bygone age. It is said they were one of the first virus attribute dragons to bred from the infernal wyrms during the first clash of Demon and Angel type digimon. These terrible drakes are incredibly large and they use this along with their devastating attacks to horde large sums of gold and jewels. It is unknown why these digimon gather such materials, but it is known that once they gather enough they will burrow into their ill-gotten gains and hibernate for extended periods of time. Their scaled hide is incredibly tough; their only true week point is their exposed digicore which is placed where their necks meet their bodies.
Digimon belongs to Bandai
Gostir belongs to J R. R. Tolken

It's not bad, tho the back legs look pretty awkward, and the perspective is wrong on his chest. In that pose he shouldn't be able to show off his chest gem directly up face.
I can't rly criticize anything else, it's a digimon, so their designs can get weird, just work on a less stiff anatomy.

Yeah, I steam to have issues with that a little. I'll work on it the next time I draw him. Anatomy has never been my strong suit when it comes to positions.

Is he evil?
And how were you able to get four pieces that you scanned to become one once again? Because I have a Digimon that is in two pieces but not sure how to make it one big picture like you have done for this guy here. And I would like to know as to how to to do that?

Well, from reading fan Digimon fic's and my own opinion, AncientGostirmon COULD be evil. But as the digimental evolution? Not really, his inhibitions are lowered a little bit, but the element in and of itself is not evil. It's just the twin of the digimental of light. Powerwise he's as powerful as his digimental of light counter part. Although I have that digimon focused on defense rather than offense.
As for putting him back together? I put each peace in different layers than I took the parts on the bottom and oriented them till they fit as close as possible. Having a program that has layers really helps when drawing something from a pencil sketch on your computer or laptop.

Could you give me a step by step as to how to make two picture pieces look like one picture?

Well, not really. I'll try. Make sure you save
Step 1: Using whatever art program you have, create two layers, making the bottom one the background. I always make my background color white. But you can make the color different from the paper of the sketch if it helps.
Step 2: Paste one part of the paper sketch onto the free layer in the file.
Step 3: Create another layer below the one with the sketch and paste the next piece. Continue until all pieces of the drawing are on separate layers.
Step 4: Re-size the canvas (using the background layer) until its large enough where you can move each piece around so that each part isn't being covered by the drawing piece on the upper layer.
Step 5: Pick a piece of the image as the focal point and position it where you can then position other pieces to match up to. (This is usually the image part on the upper most layer. You can always move the layers around till the part you want )
Step 6: Select the piece on the layer below it and move the entire piece until the lines match up on the focal piece. You may have to zoom in real close to make sure each line matches up.
Step 7: Once your satisfied with the position of the images merge the two layers together. (Save after each piece is merged, so you do not loose any progress.)
Step 8: Repeat Step 6-7 until all pieces of the image match up back together. (If they do not match up perfectly you might have to rescan the image piece again. The reason could be due to the position of the paper at the time of the scan.)
Step 9: Select the entire now whole image and "crop to selection" in order to get rid of the extra space.
