My smut-muse has buggered off temporarily (I think it's tired!) - so I did another Snape. Hey, atleast he's not wearing a weasley jumper this time!
Pen and ink wash on cartridge paper. Photographed, tidied and coloured in Photoshop.
*JK Rowlings owns the Harry Potter world. I just borrowed it.

The shadow on his face, the greenish light, the sharp lines ... all this makes this piece very expressive. He has just this snapish expression on his face, you caught it very well!

Snapish: well, that was a bit of a trick of me because I am not very firm with describing adjectives since I am no native speaker.

You used it well! I have awful trouble with adjectives in German (mostly trying to figure out what the suffix is supposed to be!)

I don't think I'll ever manage to remember what goes where! It's hard to realise that native speakers may use them incorrectly too - we get grammar drilled into us so much, it seems like it's the worst thing in the world to get it wrong! But then, gramatically my English can get pretty bad too - so I guess it makes sense!

It took me a long, long time to realise that not everything I read in English is correct, especially in fan fictions, and now I am happy about every error I recognize as an error. Of course, most of the time I don't mind the error itself.

If your fanfic idea had plenty of ass-kickin' in it, I say WRITE!!!!! James was definitely a bit of a prat - Sirius pissed me off as well....but Snape definitely had several chips on his shoulder too!!! They all needed a good boot up the backside really!

Apparantly, my husband draws the line at the pig sleeping in our bed. It's living in our shower at the moment, so...really...what the big deal if it sleeps in our bed?

Bed, shower - what's the difference? It's not like he's a horse or anything - a horse is probably too big (and a little too 'Godfather'-like), but he's just a teeny little pig!
