took me 4hrs. back was hurting bad afterward.at the start of painting i was like wtf why isnt it looking right but then as i got towards the end the image started coming together. this is my first still life ive never traditionally painted a stilllife before. i learned alot in those 4 hours let me tell you.... water = eraser!
sorry for the shitty photo quality maybe ill scan the painting later but i want to keep the IRL pepper in so that you guys could see what i was going for

You've got decent observation skills but the way you use the brush is totally wrong since most of it seems like straight lines; what you want to aim for is for most of the brush strokes to be like a longer and more confident C curves so there's aren't jagged edges.
