I guess some people wonder what really an true wild oasis looks like in the middle of a sand and rock desert.This is a photo i've taken about 8 years back i guess of an oasis we encountered while we were visiting the Sultanate of Oman. It was truly amazing and we couldn't resist a little dive in the water
I am very sorry for the crappy quality, it's a scan of a photo... 8 years back digital cameras were.. um you know

I have another nice spot i'll upload very soon. It truly was a beautiful and quiet place. Swimming in there was nice! We only had to avoid the snakes in the water
