Description
This was part of my graphics coursework (hence my real name and the Zutons at the bottom) and it took about 4 hours, even though i left it to the last minute i'm quite proud of it. The nebula is the first one i've made i'm happy with but i hope to get ALOT better, mainly so i can make some more abstract shaped ones rather than the traditional body with bits coming off. The planets look alright i guess but the inhabited planet is a bit cartoony and the yellow one's quality's a bit blurred.. but i'm just nit picking, because its my third space artAll the planets are meant to be positioned around the nebula (the ones in the back too), so it's a "gathering", and i liked the word empyreal for the celestial, sort of endless meeting of the planets.
enjoy.

This one planet does look a little cartoon-ish. Though the only reason it looks like that is because of the clouds. Maybe if you work on them a bit more you will be able to achieve more realistic look. Other than that I think your work is impressive.

Nice work, besides making it completely obvious that you used a tutorial for the nebula and top left planet....
Try to deviate from the tutorials.

Oh, sorry if I was a litttle mean there. Didn't look at the full size image...
The nebula looks very good.

thanks, but because this had to be in the next day it was either use a planet i'd already made or use a resource, and i thought it would be better to use that unoriginal one rather than use something i had no part in.
ty for the comment
