Description
Mario kart, who doesn't love it. one the best thing about it are the items. they can turn the tide of the race. but some of them can really be no help at all. and just to be fair, i'll leave out the blue shell.

and keep in mind that this is my list so if you have a different in opinion, just leave a comment.

OK, lets start it off with the best.

Best

5.Mushrooms
OK, this may not do much but a least it gives you a burst of speed right. so it going on this list

4.Golden Mushroom
what better then one mushroom, having a mushrooms that won't run out this a period of time. The Golden mushroom gives you an infinite amout of mushroom for a short time. which is goo because i can go on any route i want without losing speed

3.Starman
speed boost, check
no slowdown, check
nothing can hurt you, check
yep, this item is going on this list

2.Green Shells
now i know what your think you putting the green shell on this list, when the red shell almost always hit the opponent, why is it not on the list. well that maybe true. but with the red shell you can block it by just using a banana peel while the green shell can be unpredictable and when you hit something with it, you feel like you did something.

1.Bullet Bill
it can blast away people using Mega Mushrooms and bump off people with stars as well, but using this near the goal on a good position is also good, plus you can avoid Shrinking effects while it's used! yep this is going on the number one spot.

now for the worst.

5.Banana Peels
ya ya, they might trip up the person behind you but nobody but the computer opponent divers will be dumb enough to drive over one. i hope to god in Mario kart 8 that there will be no more of this item.

4.Fake Item Box
same thing with the banana peels, they are a different color then the real one so it like saying "hey, i'm a fake, don't come after me!"

3.Browser shell
just like the green shell just slower, bigger and ten time less useful

2.Bob-Omb
one of the hardest item to use, the bob-omb is nearly impossible to hit anyone with it, and you can even hit yourself with this item.

1.Thundercloud
its best put as this, "The risks of keeping the thundercloud outweigh the benefits." it gives you a speed boost but then it can randomly strike you with lightning, causing you to shrink. so you don't know when it will strike. so its best to get rid of it.
