The water is radioactive. Hence the protection.
Water scenes are not easy to make them realistic with this game engine. Both for surface and underwater shots. Still learning.

Nice job. I never even tried to use power armor underwater, always though I'd sink like a stone lol.

Wait. Can you actually do this in game? Well, you can do a lot in this game but the idea of working above that chasm in water, in power armor, is not something I ever considered to try.
