idk y but in this picture the buildings look like they are model ones or something. for some reason it doesnt look real to me.

That's a great shot! I love the building on the right. New York has some grand old architecture. That was a great time of day to take that shot. Beautiful lighting.

It was about 40 minutes before sunset.
I was hoping for a nice sunset that day, but the skies weren't cooperating.

Ahhh, the winter solstice, the true meaning of christmas. And to think it would have come 4 days early this year too. Nice shot, same location and same angle as the other Empire state shots. Did you "X" mark this spot capn'?

I'm so obsessed with that building to the right of the empire state building in the photograph. I keep seeing it on tv and thinking "wow...I want to see that REAL.

That's probably not the building you keep seeing.
You're probably seeing the Flatiron Building (used as the Daily Bugle in the Spiderman movies)
The building in this shot looks very similar to the Flatiron from this angle.
The Flatiron is only ten blocks from where I work.

I missed it this year- really wanted I big moon shot.
