RIP John Graham Mellor, 1952-2002. I love some of the abbreviations he uses (e.g., SPANISH ARMA); of course they're just to prod his memory, not for public consumption.

I got to meet him once after a show. Such an unbelievably nice guy!
Some friends and I had a fanzine out back in '82.
We got to go see a show and hang out with the band afterwards.
There were several coolers of Heineken in the band room.
Joe was the only one in the room with a bottle opener.
If he even sensed you were turning towards a cooler,
he was right on top of you with that opener!

That's the sort of thing you don't expect from a celebrity. I read he was also planting trees to help counteract the greenhouse effect. That's forward thinking.
