The color scheme in this work is matching perfectly 
and the use of matching color (in this case - green & orange) as 'color accent' to the main color scheme is always made the work look interesting.
You should do coloring like this more! :

I made some colors palettes recently, trying to see how each colors match together on them. Also quite surprised by the result of the shadings after this little experiment, giving more surface and volume, interesting idea indeed... ^_^
