Cappitron’s Short-Circuited Rant
====================
Let’s talk about the trailer for the ‘Revenge Of The Fallen’ movie. When I first saw the “Unicycle-tron” robot, I figured it was Devastator. I mean, it was big enough for me to assume so. But because I am way too interested in all things Transformers and often check sites like seibertron [link] and tfw2005 [link] I have learned that the humongous Decepticon smacking choppers out of the sky is only a PART of Devastator! From seeing pictures of the toy, it’s one of those megalith construction cranes that justify having a whole staircase mounted to it. If you press on the caterpillar treads of the crane, they bloom open like an umbrella into those tire-like things.
It’s gonna be so awesome.

But to put down some bad news, The Fallen’s alt form is another metal seagull flying craft just like Megatron, because we all know how cool movie Megatron looked and there’s TOTALLY NOT a surplus of movie Megatron toys on the bottom shelves almost two years later.

The Lowdown On The Download

Have you seen the Leo Prime figure? It’s a recolor and retool of an old Cybertron figure. As soon as I saw teaser shots of this plastic marvel being released, I knew I had to have him for my collection.

Because he has got to be the most ri-damn-diculous color design I have ever seen for a Transformer.

I mean, I can understand the designer’s equation of Optimus Prime plus lion equals Voltron’s love baby. In execution, however… The idea for my comic was secured when I read the back of the box which stated that Leo Prime specializes in espionage.
REALLY?
Unless the Decepticons are colorblind and/or retarded, then nobody’s gonna be fooled by a lion that looks like it’s made out of the American flag.
