Joueaubi [bijou + eau "water gem"]
short: Juobi

are ultra rare dual-tailed water creatures that carry the purest gemstones inside their bodies.
The gemstones grow inside their torso, head and ears, right below their skin, and replace all natural organs or tissue.
They count as a kind of infestation though.

Juobi are hunted all over the world for their valuable crystals and often stripped
off their skin to harvest the gems and then thrown away.
Their ears and crystal brains are the most expensive parts.
