This came out more cute than I expected... <3When I drew this, I was remembering how Emri and Ken started... they were just Pucca and Garu to me... They had a story... but their pasts and past names were yet to be revealed to my heart as something important... their futures were yet to be revealed to my mind as something interesting...
I sometimes forget that Emri and Ken started out that way...
I forget that once they too were just apart of the crowd of knock offs... of copied characters... they were my favorites ever since I made their Weaklets for some reason...
Emri/Pucca was my obsession character for a long time... I never really cared about Ken/Garu till MUCH later... her past was written faster than Ken's...
I see more of her in older eppies than Ken... (and she was quite rare) I always longed to play with Pucca ALL the time... I hid her in some episodes if I was not too shy that day, just to get her involved, even if it meant I only used her for a minute... xD
Later they got more involved... and later, I started to love Garu more than Pucca...
Garu became my obsession... an obsession greater than Pucca... on days we didn't use Ken, I was miserable...
It's true...
Funny how not playing with your favorite character can make one feel that way!
In my journal... I screamed for Garu...
In reality... the truth was that I was of course screaming for Ken...
Not Garu... Ken...
Don't get me wrong... I do LOVE Garu... but one of the reasons I love him is Ken...

Anyway... I wanted to draw this... it came out pretty... <3
Ken loves Emri, but as we know, his evil can't allow him to show it at times... so he's fussing at the pain... LOVE IS PAIIINNN... IT BUUURNS...
In the back... you see Garu and Pucca ... running... chasing... funny love...
Even though Emri and Ken have a more sad love, since Ken can't express much other than hatred, they too once lived with Funny Love... but that was a long, long time ago...
Ken and Emri belong to me... Pucca and garu don't.

I mean like, if you notice that the background is on Ken and Emri to make them look beautiful? It's hard to explain...but how did you get the background to look like that on Ken and Emri?

okay, the first thing I did was the gradient on the background... I copied it twice, one in the front and one in the back, to make ken and emri look softer when I add the layer mask on top, and the one in the front is very transparent, almost invisible (about 14%?)... then I made a vector mask layer (it's at the bottom with the new layer stuff), and used random brushes on the layers mask... (I'm not sure if they were cloud brushes or some other brushes)... I used black, but lowered the opacity, so it wasn't too transparent and if it was, I used white (the darker the color the more transparent it is on the mask)... I organized this and put it on a separate folder on top of the folder with the character layers (if you don't use folders than you don't really have to do this...) xD... And I think that's it... 8D
Does it make any sense to you? (cuz it probably wouldn't to me... I'm horrible at explaining stuff... xDD)
