The result of listening to MLPFIM BGM music all day...

Finally... my wip of the Pucca characters as Ponies... XDD

Since NOBODY has done this as far as I know... :/

I wanted them to look as distinctive and recognizable as possible, but yet keep a pony feel to them... hence why I left all their hairstyles the same...

Very little usage of references this time... yaaaay I'm getting better at my ponies... 8D

Now let me do some explaining...

Most of the ninjas will have to be unicorns... how else are they going to swordfight? XD
I was debating, but then I remembered how Tobe and Ching both use two swords... kinda hard to do without a little unicorn magic... XD

Also, I wanted Pucca to be different, since she's the character that strikes as different in the series. Among the many unicorn ninjas, she isn't a unicorn but rather a normal pony. This is kinda to emphasize how she's so bland and normal looking on the outside, but on the inside she's very unique and powerful... Somehow able to use tactics that usually only unicorns are able to use... idk... XD

Obviously, Pucca's cutie mark has something to do with hearts. The thing that makes her unique in all of Sooga and gives her a purpose in life is her burning passion for Garu... XD

I'm still deciding Garu's cutie mark... I want it to be something ninja-y, but unique just for him... Most of the ninja's will have a ninja star on them or a variation of that. I was debating a sword, or something else, or maybe even a heart for him too, lol... but either way, his clothes block his cutie mark, so HAH... >: P

I'm also still deciding Ching's cutie mark... currently it's flowers, but I'm not sure I'll change it later or not... I mean, it does fit her though... but I guess time will tell whether or not I'll keep it... ^^

I have no idea what to put for Tobe's... XD
I've gone through many idea's... an X in the same way as his scar, something ninja-yy like ninja stars or a sword, and even something like Garu's head with a slash through it like one of those do not signs... XD
I can't quite figure out what to put on him... but once again... his clothes will give me mercy for now... XDD

These are my first idea's for the designs and the reasons behind them... I may make minor adjustments to things like their tails, the way their hair is drawn or some of their features (like ahem their friggin cutie marks), but otherwise I don't think too many major changes are in need... ^^

I really had fun thinking this through... and... Holy crap I put wayyy more thought into this than I should of... I'm not surprised about the Pucca part... but the pony part... mehh... not surprised either... XDD

Obviously I still have to pony-fy ring ring, abyo, the 3 chefs, and tobe's ninja crew... XD
(I hope this doesn't lead to a whole pony-fied sooga village... DX;;; )
