Wow I had this concept last night and wanted to draw it immediatelywhere like what if there was some sort of explosives strapped to something or someone and you never knew when they were going to go off and no one was willing to help get them off of you and everyone just ran in fear of you instead? And since you never know when they're going to go off you just live your life in fear unable to sleep or relax or go out in public?
I was originally gonna incorporate this idea into a new fancharacter or something but it didn't suit me and I don't need more characters at the moment lol
so here have Pinkie Pie living her entire life alone in fear crying etc

also this isn't hate art i don't hate pinkie i don't hate my little pony i am not trying to make people mad i just like to draw thought evoking stuff, also thanks to whoever put this on EqD?? wow im honoured :'D

Eh, not sure what to make of this one. It decent, but remove the explosives and it would be good. I mean, I read your description, nut it's a concept that is not entirely suited for MLP.

I feel like this could be a metaphor for Pinkie's fragile emotional state (apparent ongoing battle with depression, the way she can switch so abruptly between manic and depressive, etc.). Maybe I'm reading too much into it. Powerful image.

Huh...for some reason, I want to watch The Hurt Locker now. I think because it had to do with explosives? I can image a Pony wearing a bomb disposal outfit, telling Pinkie it'll be okay, as he/ she disarms the stick of Dynamite.

Not because the drawing is bad; to the contrary, it's excellent.

Your decision to use an official character versus a fan character was wise. If you had used a fan character, the piece would not have communicated emotion as well as it does. We all know Pinkie Pie, and we know how against her nature it is to be sad and alone. That's why this scene is so devastating. With a fan character, we have no relation to their personality at all. It would still be sad, but not nearly as effective as using Pinkie Pie. Well done.
