Description
It practically took me about 2-3 days to complete this. *phew*I just came up with this concept at the drop of a hat. At first I wanted to do a FF7:AC pic, but then I wanted to do a DMC3..So I thought, ''why not just do both at once!?'' They are both 2 of my many favorite games
lol, I threw in the monsters at the last minute. Since Malbro is a pretty infamous monster in the Final Fantasy world, I decided to throw him in there. Its a shame that you cant see the Pride monsters from DMC3 all the way...but they're there...scanner couldnt fit them all I guess...
I used colored pencil, these markers I bought yesterday, and some paint. Just a tad bit of paint. And the lights shining on their swords and the background and borders I did on Paintshop Pro. I really enjoyed doing this piece, it was fun to do. It was fun doing Dante and Vergil the most.
But all in all I really like how it came out.
Final Fantasy VII(c)Square-Enix
Devil May Cry 3(c)Capcom

Wow, my two favorite games in one picture.
I love how you did the "villain" characters in the background, it adds to the ominous effect.
But really, shouldn't that be a Tonberry where Malbro is? I mean, it would have gotten a few LOLs out of all the FFVII nerds out here...

This is really fun! The lines from the flare effects on the swords sort of distracts from the figures, makes it look like there were lines on the original image or like you were sort of trying for a rain affect for some reason, so I likely would have done without it, or lessened the flare some, but otherwise, I like this. The expressions fit the characters -really- well.

Well at that time I didnt know much about using Photoshop, so I thought that looked good and I didnt think about lessening the flare...hell I didnt really know how at the time lol. But thanks.

Vergil r teh seckz. You have a good handle on Traditional Media... whereas... I do not. -looks at her lonely markers, crayons and color pencils- I keep breaking my promises to them... damn.
-Clings to Vergil-
Vegil: ...not this again...

Nooo... I do love you...

The only way to get better with digital is to practice often!
