Description I'm gonna be one of the fans that want Pyrrha back to life. However, I always acknowledge that reviving the dead is bullshit. But the least BS way I can think of is having Salem perform necromancy (going to presume she can), resurrect Pyrrha Nikos, instill dark power into her, and make a deadly villain out of her who can summon more lances via dark red portals (same one used by Cinder and Raven) which she can control using her enhanced Semblance. She is faster and stronger than before, but forgoes defense and relies more on strength and range, although she can still perform deceptive feats using her teleportation powers. My current name for this Pyrrha, go figure, is Pyrrha Necros.

She can also summon dark copies of Jaune Arc to serve her (inspired by Cia and her Dark Links from Hyrule Warriors). These clones are initially stronger and more capable fighters than their original counterpart. They can absorb Dust elements, completely embodying the Dust and wielding their elements (albeit one element for each clone). And because of their shields and superior defense, they can more than make up for Necros' own lack of defense should she summon them in battle. Their shields each have a symbol resembling the combination of both Jaune and Pyrrha's emblems (her spear over his crescents).

Now personality-wise, Necros is a complete opposite to Nikos. She is arrogant, harsh, condescending, sadistic, ruthless, vengeful, bloodthirsty, power-hungry, and almost pure evil. I say "almost" because she still retains her love for Jaune but to the point of lust and obsession, strong enough to even resist Salem at times. In Volume 4, I want Jaune to pursue and try to free Pyrrha from Salem's power and bring her back for good, while Pyrrha Necros will try to get Jaune to join her side. I also expect her to express some jealously towards Ruby for "replacing" her among the team. Despite following Salem, Necros' motives are mostly fueled by an accumulation of all her stress and negative emotions buried deep inside her as Nikos. She has a bitter grudge against the world--the way it works, the systems used by the four kingdoms and all its huntsmen and huntresses--blaming it all to be the reason for her separation from Jaune, the only person she genuinely cares for. As such, she wishes to completely destroy the current world and recreate a new one where she and Jaune can be together forever. However, as long as Jaune is still on the opposing side, Necros is not above lashing out against him or engaging him in combat, attempting anything she can to force him into submission. In a sense, she has yandere-like tendencies towards him. Necros would even dismiss her original "destiny" of saving the world, asserting that her only real destiny must be to be with Jaune forever. So although her love for Jaune is her driving force, it is also the only source of light in her heart that continues to prevent her from being completely wrapped in darkness; henceforth it is a force even Salem cannot conquer. (Yeah I know, power of love, cheesy, don't normally use it, but Jaune and Pyrrha is an exception for me; it just has a special place in my heart for reasons.) Of course, the chances of me getting what I want in a series has always been painfully low but hey, gotta pour these ideas out somewhere and this looks as good a place as any.Β

As for her appearance here, yes, her attire is much bolder and more revealing, with black sickled motifs everywhere. Her hair is jagged too and has black highlights. Those diamond shaped patterns on her trousers are holes inspired by Ghirahim from Zelda: Skyward Sword. She has dark tattoos on her arms, neck, and abdoment; she wears eye make-up and black earrings; wears a black crown; has sharp canines, and a long tongue (I have my fetish). Her boots expose her knees which have her emblem. Her spears are longer and have bigger-wedges at the end; they are more dangerous than her usual Milo.

Now, reviving a dead character that I like is only one of the reasons for all this. Other reasons include:
1. Incomplete teams are just hard for me to look at sometimes, even if Ruby's with the rest of JNPR.
2. If Volume 4 is indeed starring Ruby and JN_R for the most part, an evil Pyrrha could make for a fitting antagonist.
3. Pyrrha has always been so renowned for her power and skills among her generation that I'd love to see just how threatening she can be as a villain given some enhancements.
4. If Jaune does continue to train and become stronger, him vs Pyrrha would be called for. If he can defeat Pyrrha and even purify her (and bring her back for good), then that could be a great testament to his growth and development as both a fighter and a character.

I think that the only way that Pyrrha would return would be as villain. While I find interesting that she is a psychozombie here, my I like to think Salem would try to break her. I mean, Pyrrha is far too honorable to accept Salem's offer without resistance, so she would probably induce try to break her into despair. Again, this is interesting, Jaune would see a Pyrrha that represents everything she fought against.

Yeah my idea does involve Salem tapping into all of Pyrrha's negative emotions until she's completely corrupted by it (save for her love of Jaune).

That would be horrifying to watch, that's for sure. It's emotional torture of a person's psyche.

Maybe but it might look as bad of Salem can perform that rather quickly. What I have in mind is actually Salem unleashing a wave of dark aura into Pyrrha, knocking her unconscious. Pyrrha will then be laid to rest on a bed while she thinks to herself, all that's happened in her life, why she did what she did, what she values, (winter does seem to be the "season of reflection" which is when Vol 4 will most likely be set in, so in this sense, Pyrrha's thoughts could fit this theme.)

Ultimately, however, she will come to the conclusion that Ozpin, his fellow huntsmen, and the world in general that she fought to protect has betrayed her (which is definitely what Salem would want her to believe), that Jaune is the only person who has truly been loyal to her, and that the current world and its systems are what's separating her from him.

And so, by the time Pyrrha wakes up, she'll be a whole new person--the very tragic villain I drew. Her motives? Go figure--get revenge on the world and create a new "perfect" one where she and Jaune can finally be together for an eternity. And although she despises Ruby for seemingly "replacing" her and "stealing Jaune" (delusions), she's not against the idea of Ren and Nora joining her with Jaune just for "good times' sake). Nevertheless, Necros is not crazy about those two as she is with Jaune.

As I'm writing this, one new idea I have to add to her powers is the ability to summon multiple red and black silhouettes of Jaune to aid her in combat (inspired by one of Cia's tricks in Hyrule Warriors where she can summon Dark Links). Summoning "Jaune Arcs" could make up for Necros' lack of a shield, and in a way that may surprise her opponents.

Okay, that's quite interesting, and quite scary and creepy at the same time. (Nice use of a metaphor for Winter)

Ah I see, so Salem tricks her into thinking those thoughts and twist Pyrrha into what she wanted her to be.

Oh my heart would be broken when she fights Jaune in this new form. And yes, it's a twisted vision and corrupted by Salem...and her thoughts was completely screwed up so badly by the villains.Β

That's going to be terrifying when Ruby and the rest of JNPR fights her, that's for sure.

CapricornGuy In reply to victortky [2016-02-21 06:29:48 +0000 UTC]

While Salem may want Pyrrha to think in such a way, she might not even need to trick her. Pyrrha may well have those dark thoughts in her own subconscious. After all, hesitantly or not, it's undeniable that Ozpin WAS ready to risk Pyrrha's life in the Fall Maiden transfer, as were the rest in his circle. Even Pyrrha knew that before she decided to accept the ordeal. But the difference as we all know is that she had more than enough good in her to value the safety of the world. So what Salem is doing is merely removing all that good so that all that's left in her heart is that very darkness, save her love of the Jaune Arc, the one bit of light that Salem cannot touch (because of power of love. Cheesy I know, but completely imaginable.)

So about the fight with Pyrrha Necros. Our heroes will definitely meet her more the once, but for the final battle in Volume 4, I want it to be Jaune Arc vs Pyrrha Necros, because honestly, based on what I designed Necros to be, Jaune is really the only person who can stand a chance and save her. Through love he'll have some advantages against her, but it still won't be easy of course. As for Ren and Nora, I want those two to fight some other enemies, preferably Roman and Neo (and of course, I want Ren to kick ass and win--favorite character, go figure) but that's another story for now.

For the events leading up to the final battle, I want Ruby to fight Cinder first, assuming she survived the silver eye magic, whether with Salem's help or not. (Besides, from the 2nd and 3rd openings, we do see footage of the two fighting so it's bound to happen sooner or later.) I want the two to fight to their limits, and they do reach, I expect the weakened Cinder to still threaten Ruby, until Pyrrha Necros finishes her off (because justice, why not?) And while she does kill Cinder, Pyrrha will taunt her while gaining all of the Fall Maiden's powers that were in Cinder. "I'll say what you said to me before. Know that *I* will make far better use of these powers than you ever could! But don't worry, you don't need to take comfort in that knowledge, hahaha!" Something among those lines. And whether Salem resurrects Cinder or not in later volumes, I don't really care.

And now the all powerful Pyrrha Necros just might be the "Invincible Girl" after all! Looks like poor weakened Ruby is about to meet her end...! But of course Jaune will arrive and by now, I expect him to be a hell lot stronger than before (well no shit, he'll have to be against this even stronger Necros, right?!) But how?

Let's rewind for a moment. For Volume 4, after learning that Pyrrha is alive again, this will give Jaune hope in bringing her back for good (despite the initial horror of course). As such, I want Jaune to become Qrow's new pupil, master his Semblance and learn to do so much more until he actually becomes one of the stronger characters of his own generation! (Dare I parallel that with Sakura and Tsunade's relationship?) And by the time Jaune goes up against Pyrrha Necros, well, the latter will still be reasonably stroner.

However, despite her determination to force Jaune into submitting to her and accepting his part in her "TRUE destiny", Pyrrha will still have her love be her handicap; but really the only difference is whether or not she'll kill her opponent, which in this case, she has no intention of doing. As they fight and exchange blows, there will be emotional parallels in which we see flashbacks of the two happily training together. Later, in her desperation phase, Pyrrha will summon more Jaune Arc clones to overwhelm the real Jaune, wrapping him in dark aura and filling him with all of her past pains, negativity, and yet her true love for him. Now that Jaune can fully comprehend the nature of Pyrrha's suffering, he regains his determination, and repels the dark power surrounding him with own protective aura and Semblance.Β

At this point, Pyrrha is about to break down in despair, but--okay, I beg your pardon in advance if the following becomes so cheesy or corny--Jaune will hug Pyrrha tightly to pacify her on the grounds that he's "here with you, Pyrrha." Jaune will begin to tell Pyrrha his own feelings for her and why he's determined to bring her back to him. He then starts to use his own aura to purify Pyrrha's, the same way Pyrrha first unlocked his back in Volume 1, meaning he will use the same incantation used there (like really, I didn't think for a second that it would be my last time hearing those lines). However, Pyrrha will notice right away that Jaune does not have enough aura left to successfully use that technique on his own. Now in tears and with remorse, Pyrrha begs Jaune to stop and when his aura nearly fades, Pyrrha uses her own aura to save Jaune. What happens next is that their auras merge and the two see each other in what looks like a mental limbo or pleasantly lit environment, where they reminisce their happier times, exchange their feelings even more, romantic moment, you get the idea.

The two later wake up together back at Vale safe and sound, with Pyrrha finally back as good old Nikos. Meanwhile, in frustration, Salem finds that she has lost all control over Pyrrha and is unable to access her at all. Out of frustration, she wonders why and how Pyrrha has been freed, unable to comprehend how strong her love is for Jaune.

Phew, that was a lot, sorry.Β

Great outline but I think it would be far more fitting (and satisfying) for Jaune to be the one to kill Cinder.

CapricornGuy In reply to 66666 [2016-04-22 03:39:19 +0000 UTC]

That'll work too. But right now, my thoughts are for Cinder to die in a later season regardless of who ends up killing her. I definitely would enjoy seeing Jaune kill her but the reason I wanted Ren to avenge Pyrrha instead is obvious enough (fave, nuff said). But in even more detail, Cinder killed the strongest member of Team JNPR, the very team Ren is in. To me, that's more or less a threat to him, so personally, seeing him kill her would relieve me completely, whatever BS it might take.

I am impressed by your insight. XD Yeah, that makes sense, since Salem is an evil witch, she would be able to play on her victim's darkness and fears to her whims. (And yes, it may be cheesy, but I suspect Salem cannot understand love, so she cannot take it away from Pyrrha, only keep it at bay for a short time.)

Oh yes, I want Ruby to fight cinder, and I am sure that battle scene would be very epic. I have a feeling Salem might have more powerful agents like Cinder seeded elsewhere, but we shall see.

That sounds possible. I want Jaune to unlock his semblance and grow up to be one important character with powerful fighting skills of his own. It has been hinted that his semblance is a shield or something.Β

Wow, that was deep and I am sure there would be one tiny part of Pyrrha Necro's heart was holding her back, a spark that didn't want her to harm Jaune in any way during that fight. The parallels would be so heartbeaking in that battle, I am sure. WOW, that would be something I want to see, of course, especially the repelling of the dark powers and the purification of her suffering and such. It would be interesting to see that, and I would be cheering. XD (Kind of reminds me of Wolverine and jean Grey's [Phoenix] moment in X men the last stand)

Well, I would admit that is a bit cheesy, but I think RT may go along the lines of Jaune saving Pyrrha once more but he might need to kill her to set her free from Salem's witchery. I am sure that purification scene would be deifinitely a call-back to Pyrrha unlocking Jaune's semblance, and I can so see that happening when Pyrrha used what remained of her "essence" to save Jaune once more. The meeting in the "limbo" of sorts would be like Sarah Kerrigan and Jim Raynor in StarCraft II Legacy of the void, where they finally embraced each other and opened their hearts and emotions at last. (Remember, I don't want to break hearts, but given RT's capability to shock fans, I wouldn't put it past them) After Pyrrha pleaded for him to save her, Jaune agrees and crying in his heart and soul he cradled his significant one's body even as he used the sword and rammed it through her heart, with the "evil essence" tainting her escaping in a screaming of damned souls, and Pyrrha finally reached out and touched his cheek in a gentle motion, mouthing a heartfelt "thank you" with the last seconds of her life and then finally passing on in Jaune's arms, even as the knight cried his heart out to the heavens.

But your idea was also quite good. Ah yes, Salem might be baffled by this, and she might not comprehend how much Pyrrha loved Jaune, but I doubt that's the last we will see of Salem's schemes. XD

It's okay, the longer the better. XD

That's actually possible too lol! Not necessarily anytime soon but it's easy to imagine Team CRDL being tempted by evil and power. And if they do, I sure wouldn't mind seeing more of their abilities. You mean in that scene in 3-11 where Cardin kills an Ursa. Yeah, I was thinking he had maybe long redeemed himself which would be nice to see. As likely as it is for CRDL to become villains, I would not mind seeing them actually be heroes even for just one fight in the entire series. And besides, they were at least skilled enough to make it to the doubles round of the Vytal tourney so hey, they at least deserve some glory moment in the show. That's just how I feel, even if I never liked them.
