Here's something I put together after my friend told me that it's possible to change the logo that shows up when Windows 7 is booting. It's an alternate startup animation.
It's pretty simple, just Rainbow Dash fading in and trotting until the computer boots. The text at the bottom, "(c) Microsoft Corporation", has also been changed. It now reads, "So Much Pony Edition".
You use a program called Windows 7 Boot Updater to apply this to your computer. Just download the zip. It has the animation, a link to W7 Boot Updater, and instructions on how to install the logo. (Here's a link to Windows 7 Boot Updater, too: [link] )
Unfortunately, it plays a bit slower than I'd like. It still looks great though, in my opinion. Currently, there's no way to change the animation speed with Win7 Boot Updater, but there may be in the future.
I'll probably be making more, in the meantime. Anybody have any good ideas?

They usually consist of 105 consecutiveΒ images, 200x200 pixel each, thus resulting in a bitmap of 21000x200 pixel.
Remember that a Windows animation is 7 seconds long and has a 4 seconds "starting" phase and then repeats the last 3 seconds.

Nevermind, I searched it from where I downloaded it and the reason is because I have installed Microsoft Windows 8
Β Professional on the PC that I am using so it shows up in my BOOT.MGRΒ Β But he is working on a fix for this error Β

this is awesome 20% cooler than awesome but i was wondering can you possibly make a resuming windows animation where rainbow dash is sleeping on a cloud and then waking up, or something similiar...PLZ.

You load up all the .bmp's or .png's (I forget which the program uses) into Win7 Boot Updater and then save it as a bs7. Look in the File menu.

Okay 2 things first, I've never really had a reason to reboot my computer (randomly I mean) second this is the first program to make me hate the load speeds of SSD's.
