Description
After hearing from one of the nurses that Anya was out of her quarters and was going to the bridge, Doctor McCoy left the medical bay with a scanner and various hyposprays in hand. Once the door to the turbolift opened, McCoy entered the bridge, but stopped dead in his tracks with wide eyes at the sight in front of him.

Standing near the screen of the bridge with their arms around each other were Pavel and Anya. Not only were the two teenagers holding each other, but their lips were also pressed together in a gentle, loving kiss.

Not wanting to embarrass the young pair, Doctor McCoy quickly said, "Oh. Sorry," before quietly sauntering out of the bridge and into the turbolift.

As they gradually parted lips, Pavel and Anya slowly opened their eyes and smiled at each other. They had kissed for what seemed like an eternity, but was really a few minutes. Even so, both of them had been pleased with the result that the next stage in their relationship had happened in a way that would forever be unforgettable.

Still holding onto Pavel, Anya rested her head on his left shoulder and looked at the screen, her smile widening into a grin as she saw a shooting star fly past the ship. In the time span that was her life, Anya had not expected something as romantic as what she had just experienced to happen at all. But here she was, on a well-known ship and she was more so in love than she had dreamed of being. And no matter how bad the upcoming dilemma was, she felt better about her ability to face it.

"Anya? Are jou okay?"

Anya lifted her head off of Pavel's shoulder and locked her china-blue eyes onto his clear blue ones.

"Da," Anya said softly, running her fingers through Pavel's curls.

The two looked into each other's eyes for a few minutes before Pavel gently said, "Jou should get back to jour quvarters."

Anya nodded in agreement before asking, "Ken jou take me zhere?"

"I ken," Pavel said, giving Anya a kiss on each of her cheeks.

The two teenagers left the bridge and went into the turbolift. As soon as the doors closed, Pavel and Anya held each other closely and brought their lips together for a second kiss, this one with a little more confidence and experience. Gradually, however, the turbolift began to slow down and the two quickly parted lips just before the doors opened to reveal Doctor McCoy standing in the corridor.

"Just so you two lovebirds know: that was the bridge of a starship you were kissing in, not the hallway of some high school," McCoy said.

At this sentence, Pavel and Anya felt their cheeks turning pink.

Turning to Pavel, McCoy said, "Chekov, be glad it was me who saw this and not Jim, otherwise he would have wanted to butt you out of the picture." Then, facing Anya, McCoy continued, "Turetsky, you need to come with me to the medical bay for some tests and hyposprays."

"Vhat for?" Anya asked. "I feel fine; I don't need anyzh--"

"I'm Chief Medical Officer on this ship, Turetsky. That means I'll tell you what you need and when you need it," McCoy said firmly. "Would you rather have another panic attack?"

Knowing that now was not the time to argue, Anya sighed before following Doctor McCoy to the medical bay.
