How Are Plushee Puffs Made?

Plushee Puffs are sentient beings that were once a toy, or object of some kind. They come into being when a spirit chooses to posses an item of great importance to a person of any age. Usually a spirit will only possess an object that belongs to someone who is in great need; someone who is lonely, or needs to be protected from something. At times, a more malicious spirit will possess the object belonging to a more malicious person, or meek spirits will try to bond with someone quiet and shy just to find a friend for themselves as well. There are times when a spirit will possess an object of someone who will not bond with them, often leading to Puffs being abandoned. The spirits that form Plushee Puffs are more likely to possess a toy, or stuffed animal, and to bond with children, that way they are more likely to be loved and kept safe themselves, however, they can possess any type of object.

How Does a Plushee Puff Decide on its Form?

When a spirit chooses to possess an object and become a Plushee Puff, they take lots of things into consideration to choose their form, though, there are instances where a Puff Spirit will just take whatever form is simply created once they bond with an object. Most Puff Spirits choose their form carefully, picking the things they like, or picking the things that will best suit the person they are trying to bond with, hoping that will make their chances of being 'kept' higher. One thing that is oddly consistent through all Puffs is the fact that every spirit ends up taking on some kind of animal characteristics. This usually aligns with the object they are possessing, especially those who possess stuffed animals, but the animal traits that a Puff Spirit takes on can be anything, real, hybrid, mammal, reptile... just anything. There seems to be no set rule as to how and why these animal traits are chosen and formed, they just simply are. Perhaps it makes the Puff Spirit more endearing to the owner of the object they possess? More lovable, or more frightening when needed? Its hard to say, but the fact remains, every Puff Spirit will have animal traits.
