Description
Here is el Roacho's template filled out with my own hero/antagonist!I originally planned for Corelle to find the sudden burst of violence 'sweet', but then thought that would give the impression that she and Quentin have something more than a business relationship, which they don't (just because she's a girl doesn't mean she's a love interest).
While the overall plot is serious, I want to incorporate a lot of pulpy campyness about old exploitation films that I love so much.
Oh, and I made a mistake here: it's supposed to be Megalodon, not Megalon. Megalon is the giant beetle that Godzilla fought with Jet Jaguar.
And now for the credits:

I don't see anything wrong with him either. I know that, if he were to exist in the real world, he'd be compared to an Auschwitz surgeon, because advancement through sacrifice is terrifying for most people.

I think he's actually quite funny!
Hmm, that's a good point.
It amazes me how much fear controls the common sheeple

I'm very glad that you consider Quentin to be awesome - that means a lot.
He's a very nice person who's lived a harder life than most of us can understand. He grew up with a healthy respect for mortality and the failures of inborn genetics. He believes that mankind has the right to extend its lifespan beyond a "pathetic" eighty years or so.
In order to do this, he needs volunteers. Most of them die, which causes problems for everyone. You'd be surprised how many people are offended by the idea of immortality. After all, isn't that what all super villains want?
The point is - if this story were told from any other perspective, he'd be a Nazi scientist picking off the weak in the name of Godlessness. He just doesn't see it that way.

there's always a moral dilema, but this way of thinking, whether as Extreme as Quentin's, animal and human testing and experimentation has always been in the firing line from protesters. There's no right answer "which deserves to suffer, the test subjects or the beneficiaries of the outcome of research aka everyone else"
It's always an interesting subject to look into and I'm glad you haven't shied away from touching up on such a taboo subject (and I applaud you for not viewing it with a completely dark tone) which I'm sure this series will be something different that the internet needs.
I'm looking forward to seeing more from you
