I'm making comics of my experiences in Fallout 4, documenting the highlights.Hancock started picking shit up now. I swear he never did that before.
He also started passive aggressively calling me out for not picking up all the drugs we find lying around.
That's what gets me: They wrote those lines and had the voice actor record them just to be passive aggressive. That's beautiful and I love it.

Finally got Hancock after a grueling quest and losing a few of my power cores due to the armor I had to wear to be able to fend off the legendary enemies I ran into. Super excited to have him as my traveling buddy, but I'm having a hard time letting go of Nick. The guy grows on you so fast! On the plus side, I hope to see some of these wacky shenanigans while I have Hancock as my companion.

I had similar situation. I was trying to make Travis more confident so there was a bar fight, I unequipped all ma weapons, I lock Hancock in one of the rooms and tell him to stay, normally when I ordered companion to stay they were standing there until I go and get them. So the bar fight was ok, I was doing great when in the end Hancock suddenly appeared and fry everyone with the flamethrower that he was just carrying for me... WHAT THE HELL HANCOCK! And where you found ammunition for this! No seriously I want to know! XD

One time I picked a lock to a storage area in a building, got shot by a raider while looting it. Of course I end up fighting them. While I was busy sniping the raiders from around a corner, Nick grabbed the fatman from inside and walked past me. There was just enough time to panic before Nick killed everyone in the room, including us.

And this is why my stealth character shuns companionship. Seriously you'd think the developers would have sorted this by now, or made a stealth companion.

Elizabeth in 'Bioshock Infinite' and Ellie in 'Last of Us' were perfect in this regard.

Agreed and not in a sense, those two characters were so useful.
It makes sense in regards to the world of Fallout that people take a more combat based skill set. However having an NPC partner who could be more stealth based would be nice, especially in regards to playing a stealth character.
This is why I love RPGs, especially CRPGs, you can have stealth squads.

I think you should start leaving your pals behind any time you have to interact with people (or try and find a mod to fix the problem)... But knowing your luck, they'll go off and cause mayhem without you.

I've tried doing that with Johnny here but, yeah, he usually ends up abandoning post at the first sound of action and throws himself into it.
I saw him get mushed by a behemoth once after smacking his ass somewhere not in danger (and him ignoring orders like usual). Normally seeing one of these giants slam someone with a huge club would be hilarious but the way he just lay there was downright disturbing.

That didn't actually happen to me, hence the fact that I drew the wrong kind of robot.
That was a story told to me by a reader and I thought it would be fun to draw as a comic. Also, I don't have Far Harbor yet.

How far you are in the game? You mentioned that you didn't finished the story.

Not far. I did the whole Kellogg quest, after which seeing poor Nick sacrifice himself the way he did put a bad taste on the whole 'find your stupid ungrateful bastard child' story to end.
Couldn't finish the first BoS quest due to a glitch, never met the Institute, just met Deacon and did the first Railroad quest (looking forward to more of that), and have been assigned to secure the Lighthouse in the Minutemen story.

I am starting a new character so far I have to find a Courser, haven't found the Railroad yet, wouldn't do the minutemen quest cuz Preston won't shut up about the settlement quests and the Long couple are annoying af, and just finished greeting everybody at the BOS blimp. I already gotten four endings so I am repeating the railroad playthrough cleanly.

I never understood people getting frustrated from the Minutemen quests. They're the highlight of the game for me. But then again I love rebuild the world games.

Maybe it's just the dullness of this faction. They are not interesting. Or some ppl do not like Preston that much. He's an okay guy, he just need to stop overwhelming so much quests.

I like to think that Preston is the hidden main villain of the story.
Think about it:
He and his synth buddy Sturgis are way to clean and fashionable for their own good, unlike their other three scruffy followers.
He promotes you WAY too fast for him not to have some kind of ulterior motive.
He goes on and on about the cause but never leaves Sanctuary and does shit himself.
He depends 100% on you, a stranger fresh out of a vault, to do all his dirty work.
He always seems to know where raiders and gunners are headed before they get there and/or placed being targeted. How? There aren't any phones, there's no radio in Sanctuary, he doesn't have a Pip Boy, how does he know this?
I think he's working both sides here.

Only peculiar thing that ever happened to me in this game was when Nick got lost halfway though clearing Trinity Tower. Had to go look for him once I was done, so I re-entered the lobby and sure enough – there he was, using the cooking station with the most pissed off expression on his face.
To this day, I have no idea what he was angry about.
