Love the expressions here!
I’ve nearly missed my stop a couple of times when reading, which isn’t very good.

A variation is drawing in public, and making faces because your character is making faces and you realize that you're doing a "I SUMMON THEE, CTUL'HU" expression in the train.
(especially since my comic is home to many a very silly expression)

I love your expressions, and I don't even have to ask what happened in the book, cuz your cartoon face is a book.
Reading is a great way of staving off boredom and weirdos on public transit, but I have such a hard time doing it because I always end up getting too absorbed, missing my stop and getting really lost.

"The Stand" by Stephen King. The first quarter is introducing these lovable characters in this horrible apocalyptic situation and it's nerve -wracking when one of them dies.
Like, you know pretty much the whole B-list won't make it to the second act but it hurts anyway.

He's my favorite author, hands down. I own a huge chunk of his library but will probably never have all of it because A. it's too dang massive, and B. 'Rage' is out of print and stupid hard to get, which sucks because I want it.

The copy came! I think it is an older edition that may be more valuable, so I don’t think I want to rebind it. Agreed. I figure that reading an engaging book in public is akin to attending a sporting event where all the other spectators are legally blind and deaf. You're leaping up and cheering every few minutes, but to everyone around you, your reactions seem utterly random.
