Haha really?
I've had people watch me like I was going to start going chimpanzee on the place but irl I'm just listening to Mandy Moore songs.

I know the feeling. I have a serious face I make when I'm thinking and people think I'm in a foul mood all the time.

Oh I can relate to tgis. Why do strangers always stare at me? Do I look that weird? o I look like a psychopath... or why? I always thought I would just look like a normale person, being tired or whatever... Same goes for photos. I showed a photo of myself several years before HRT, and somebody replied "You look like a mass shooter shortly before snapping".

well, in some way it beats the face (that I have when resting) that evokes a lot of 'are you ok?' and 'is it that bad?' or 'smile!'.
Even after a relationship of 15 years, my husband can't always tell when I have resting bitch face going on and when something else is going on.

Whyyyyyyuy
I dress like that (hoodie headphones everything) all day every day and I NEVER look that badass. I just look like a tired mental deficit.

Haha
I actually had a guy try to do a drug trade with me in the metro once because I looked like a dealer.
When he realized the paper bag I was carrying was not full of drugs but full of breakfast pastries he booked it out of there.

I wish I could channel that face for my public outings.
Maybe the people at church would leave me alone finally so I could worship without being MOBBED.

Holy crap was this me today. Only difference was I had to go to a few stores and apparently I had a scary look on my face the whole time. I was lost in thought, so um...thinking looks scary? It also didn't help that I was wearing my "I'm not anti-social I'm anti-stupid" shirt.

I have the same expression every early morning...
Luckily I can just postpone putting on my contact lenses until I fixed myself up enough not to cringe in horror from my own morning face

I have to be so careful about that at work, or I end up stalking down the halls looking like the Winter Soldier on a bad Monday.

I love this one. I've long been fascinated by how people's self-perceptions differ when they're in a situation that allows them a view of themselves from the outside.
ex. mirrors, photos, video footage, CAT scans, even numerical medical data from the doctor's office, etc. There's often that uncanny moment of, "WTF? THAT'S what other people see when I walk into a room?!? I'm surprised nobody's called the cops on me yet!"

I'm always shocked when I see my reflection.
My brain-face and my face-face are completely different.
Why is that, do you think?

I think there's some kind of weird conspiracy with people lookling grumpy on the bus all the time. Like the bus just generates this sort of irrtated vibe with people. You know, besides all of the stops it makes during the ride.
