Thanks. Quen's pretty sensitive about his orientation and not open about it unless pressed. It's one of the few things he's insecure about. She knows this but apparently doesn't take it seriously (she should).

I'm sorry but I don't see either, and not because of the sheep throne, as glorious as it is.
Quen revealed, once again, other people's reaction to him, not his own thoughts that would hint at him having psychopatic tendencies. I'm not saying I don't expect the fear to be justified - I actually do, somewhere in the future. But for now it could very well go both ways: other people's fear of him being either justified or not (or justified but not in a way we would expect).
I don't see how this conversation is sexual harassment either. Rude, nosy, and inappropriate, on one hand yes. On the other, I still feel like I dunno yet how lax their boss-subordinate relations are. When you mentioned sexual harassment, I thought of Lucia's behaviour first. I read this interaction here as a joke (that is dangerously close to being taken too far, but still). Because we don't see their faces for a while as they talk, the tone is kept kind of mysterious.
I get it (now) that she's invading his sexual space while being a subordinate. If there's more to it though, please tell me. And don't worry too much about whether you people are getting your intentions or not. As you hinted at in some comments, certain details will only become creepy in hindsight, when we do learn more about the characters.
Other than that, can't wait for the Corelle-Rex relations to develop. He seems distant in the past few pages, but now I get the feeling Corelle is glad to at least work on unpacking the things with him. And, of course, she might just still be beaming with joy from the trift store treasures they've found

Yeah, I wanted to take away the sitcom "I'm talking like an abusive prick but everyone finds it funny for some reason" tone it was leading into and instead call Carmella out for being a disrespectful homophobic bitch to her superior, which I was trying to do in the first interaction but it didn't work.

It's more a drama.

Beware the cute ones. You know when they arrest a serial killer when they find a dozen bodies buried in their basement, what do the neighbors always say? "But he's such a nice boy, he couldn't possibly have done something like that." There's a lot we don't know about Quen's back story at this point, and while I'm not saying he literally has skeletons in his closet, I think it's a safe bet that there are some pretty dark chapters in his history.

I think it's more that an awful lot of people just don't want to believe that a sympathetic character they like could have done something really bad. I, on the other hand, take a certain perverse delight in putting my characters in situations where their choices are bad, really bad, and even worse.
