Thank you for all of you who welcomed me and all the other newbies into this wonderful group. I'm so grateful to be accepted and have a new place to roleplay and make friends :3
And yay, my first picture for Pkmn-c <3
I started this as a sort of sketch, and kept building to it until it became this little decent doodle, mostly to practise drawing Blake from a different position but also to play around with sunsets and colour.
I thought this would be a cute picture just to show Blake relaxing as he watches the sun set on his first day at Pokette. Which explains the title <3
I mean I know the sun probably doesn't set in the south and the background is quite plain but it was fun and my patience stat kept decreasing as I added to it haha ;3
The Animal crossing grass pattern was used from [link] <3

AWW wonderful piece, Clovey <33 The colours are so soft, it really brings out the peacefulness of the place. And wow, what a nice sight! The setting sun and the calm ocean, one sight that we all enjoy to see, even on a digital art work. And Blake looks great! You did him well from a back view. Awesomely done

As i look out to the ocean
where should i start
with a simple step forward
or with words from the heart
but as this single day ends
my new life begins
but should i be weary of it?
will even make new friends?
will others except who i am
who i was
and who i wish to be
will they laugh at my hopes
my loves
and my precious dreams?
The more i ponder these questions
the more i fear
and the more i fear the posibilities
the more i wish no end to be near
No i will put all this to rest
for it's time to sink or swim
for as this first day comes to an end
my new life will begin.

I often find that symbolism is a great outlet for creative imagery in my writing. ;3
I particularly enjoy embedding it into dreamscapes and whatnot XD
I love 'dissecting' dreams and literature for 'deeper' meanings.

I get sheer joy out of writing it for my own benefit but when others 'get it' I really love to hear their feedback and feel like I accomplished something. XD

Dying in dreams do not necessarily mean that YOU are going to die or anything like that.
In tarot cards, the Death Card means 'change' contrary to how many people (and the media) perceives it.
It isn't an evil card by any means and the same can be said on dreams.
It depends on the person and the context of the dream.
I would say that you are nervous about something and are worried about failing- but then, I don't know you or the dream well enough to give a more accurate analysis.

Often I have experienced those 'near death' or 'death' dreams and it usually was in a time of great stress or anxiousness.
Just try to take it easy and do your best on whatever it is that is bothering you.
