Description
Nova Class Starship USS Twilight's Astrometrics lab! Located on Deck 7, Starboard, it draws power directly from the warp core, and gets data directly from the long-range sensors and the ship's astrometric sensors. Data and images can be transferred to the bridge, and displayed on the main viewscreen. There are a number of duty stations here, besides the main one at the big holographic viewer. Because of its location, this lab also has the spectacular view of three very large windows. (Opposite this on Deck 7 is the Conference Room B, with Lounge, frequently used by Engineering staff and visiting scientists.) Main Engineering lower section, with the warp core, is located directly between the two! (Also on this deck is, naturally, the ship's Interphase Cloaking Device, the same one once tested on USS Pegasus; unlike that ill-fated ship, Twilight has a legal lease to use it, signed by the Romulan empress.) Most Nova Class Starships have this astrometrics lab located in this position, from what I've seen of the blueprints by different artists.
