Description
These quarters are located on Deck 4, along the outside hull, to allow for transparent aluminum windows in the bedroom. A Nova Class starship doesn't have much space, so these shared quarters are for the most junior of officers (ensigns) or for chief petty officers. U.S.S. Twilight, like all Nova Class science vessels, has room for 15 officers, plus four private quarters allowing for passengers and VIP guests. All enlisted personnel share quarters. Still, this is quite spacious and luxurious for two personnel. (For the smart-alec who asked me where the toilet is, all toilets on a starship or base FOLD INTO THE BULKHEADS! Should you lose gravity for any reason, the water and anything in that waste water, you do NOT want floating around the cabin! See Star Trek V: Spock's Emotional Brother.)
