Oh goodness this is rather old... I don't quite remember when I finished this, but oh wellIt was just a practice with using watercolor pencils.
I'm not sure if I'm that fond of them... Maybe I'll just stick with straight up watercolors...
But anyway, I felt kind of bad today for not uploading anything for the past...like... month.
Ahhhh wellllll
You can have this little scrap for now until I finish some bigger projects.... like a super fun art trade and a giant painting xD

ooooh fantastic! you know, this called my attention because the first drawing I made after leaving DA was a nymph too (and I did not know what a freaky tree person was called either lol) tho it looks quite different. It's just awesome how people can have similar ideas and put them into paper in such different ways.

si, its a species of nymph, the nature spirits from greek mythology
dryads are spirits that live in trees, hamadryads were an integral part of the tree themselves, they died when you cut their tree down. think of how much a genocide the deforestaton of the Amazon would be to the ancient greeks, they punished that severely
