Three nights have passed by and Leonardo has not seen that ridiculously annoying but strangely appealing vampire. Well sonce he had seen him with a child. Not that he was wanting to see him, but it was a little off since Leo had hinted to being fine with working with the other turtle. He was fine with the vampires absence though, since he was actually able to get some work done.

Well, he did kill quite a number of monsters that night. Leonardo caught himself smiling just the slightest at the memory.He grumbled and tried to shake the thought from his head. Teaming up with a vampire. That was against his whole Vampire Hunter thing even if it was to kill more vampires. But hey. . . Everyone needs a break every once in a while. Leo continued to make up excuses as he tried and failed to convince himself he didn't enjoy hanging out with the vampire.

But yet, here he was again, catching himself smiling when ever he thought about the emerald turtle. This was mostly how he'd spent the last few nights. Just thinking lazily, bored out of his mind. He hadn't really seen that many of those blood sucking leeches he was used to hunting. Of course there would be an occasional small group, but he was still extremely bored.

He moved to hang upside down off the water tower he was currently resting on, trying to think of something to do. Maybe he could think of a way to locate Raphael. It was a stupid idea and he shouldn't even be considering it. But he needed somethimg to do. Something to keep him busy. He pulled himself up, and jumped down, deciding to actually try his new. Leo started walking began in his search for the emerald vampire till a voice he recognized well stopped him in his tracks, " yo, Leonardo!"

He swiftly turned around and felt his insides flutter a bit at the sight of the red-clad vampire. "Hey, Raph. I almost thought you decided that I was to dangerous to be around," he jeered his comment getting a smirk from the other turtle.

" Not gonna happen Fearless," Raphael rumbled back.

Leo's eyes roamed Raph's body, who was shirtless and jacket-less tonight . And Leonardo was quickly able to see why, his face softed just the slightest as he took in the multiple new cuts and abrasions on the bare arms and plastron. " You were in a fight," Leo stated more than asked, as the vampire drew closer.

Raph sighed," what gave it away? "

The beaten turtle sat on the edge of the building, and Leo soon joined him. " You ok," the blue-clad turtle asked.

" I'm fine, you."

" I'm good.Just bored, no vampires " Leo answered surprised at the easy conversation between the two of them.

Raph grinned as he motioned to his battered body!" as you can see, I found plenty."

Leo found himself grinning back as he asked, " what happened?"

" Not much, I was jumped by some scum vampires working for Slash. I made it home, so no big deal."

" It is a big deal you could have been killed."

" Me, nah. And why would you care?" Raph questioned.

Leo paused not sure how to answer him. " Well, your not to bad to hang with," the vigilante said with a smirk.

At this Raph dipped his head, hiding a slight blush. Leo smirked at his friend's reaction. "Hey?"

"Ya," Leo answered.

" Can I trust you?"

Leo didn't hesitate. " Yes."

Leo followed Raph through the sewer tunnel. Leo was surprised he'd actually followed the red-clad vampire down here, but here he was following his suppose to be enemy into the dark. Raph suddenly stopped, and Leo was just able to keep from tumbling into him. Leo stepped around the slightly shorter mutant and was met with four unfamiliar eyes. Leo watched as two humans, another turtle, and a young canine mutant creep cautiously toward him.

" So, Raph. This is your new ' friend' you can't shut up about?" The male human asked, getting closer to the turtle in question.

As the man talked Leo caught sight of sharp fangs present in the humans mouth. Vampires,Leo thought. Catching sight of sharp canines in all of the gathered beings mouths.

"Yep. Casey, meet Leonardo. The all mighty Vampire Hunter."

Leo shot Raph a mock glare, and sent a small nod to the new vampires.

" Vampire Hunter. Your sure he can be trusted, Raphael? " The turtle vampire asked, as she looked Leo over closely.

" He's cool, sis. No worries."Raph reassured.

" Leo, this is my sister Venus."Said the red-clad turtle motioning to the female turtle.

"Nice, to meet you." Leo said as he quickly assessed the pale green vampire. She was wearing torn jeans, a gray crop top, and a black leather vest. He was surprised as the feeling of relief he felt when he heard Venus was Raph's sister.

Venus studied Leo, her face broke into a smile as she said, "nice to meet you, too."

Raph grinned happy to see his sisters easy acceptance of Leonardo. He then turned towards Casey and the female human. " This loser is Casey, and the redhead is April."

"Loser? That's alot coming from you meat-head," Casey says.

April elbowed Casey," nice to meet you, Leonardo."

"Just Leo," the blue-clad turtle said awkwardly, honestly he was surprised he was accepting the new vampires, you know since he hated most vampires.

"And this is Yoyo," said Raph as he picked up the small canine vampire.

Leo smiled at the child, this is the kid from the alley. "Hello."

The young mutant stared at Leo with eyes wide ,then all of a sudden she finally spoke," your Leonardo?"

"Yes."

"I like you."

"I like you, too." Leo said with a smile.

Raph smiled widely, "you better, like her or I'd have to defriend you."

Yoyo looked up at Raph," you wouldn't do that, Papa. It took you to long to make him your friend."

"That is very true," the emerald turtle said winking at Leo.

Leo smiled back. Suddenly a loud ringing noise filled the room, with a sigh Leo took his phone from his cloak and answered it," hello."

Everyone watched as the leaf green turtle's face turned from annoyed to downright pissed. " I'll be right there."

"What was that about?" Raph asked as Leo hung up.

"A friend of mine did something stupid, I'm sorry but I'm going to have to leave."

"No, problem. I'll walk you out," Raph said as he sat Yoyo down.

Leo politely said goodbye and headed out into the sewer tunnels followed by Raphael. After they had been walking for a bit Raphael began to speak," I told you I'd tell you why I'm being hunted."

The blue-clad turtle looked over at his friend, " you did."

" Are you sure you want to know?"

Leo studied the emerald turtle's blank face," yes."

Raph nodded," as you already know I was Slash's main tracker, I hunted down Slash's enemies and in return my sister was protected."

Raph glanced up at Leo and was surprised when he found the other turtle staring intently at him. Raph stopped and Leo stopped with him. " I trusted Slash, he called me his brother. He was one of my closest friends, but he wanted more.He wanted me to be his mate, and when I didn't give him more he took it."

Leo gasped," he raped you?"

"Yes Leo, he did. But not just that he kept me captive for weeks, tortured me, used me like an object. He broke me Leo, I had given up on life. The only reason I'm alive now is because of Yoyo, I had to get her out of Slash's clutches. They were going to kill her because she was half-mortal."

Leo's eyes widened slightly, half-mortal, well that was unexpected. He frowned sadly as Raph kept his face down in shame. Gently he pulled Raph's face up so he could look the emerald turtle straight in his one eye. "Raphael, do not feel ashamed it wasn't your fault."

"But I was weak, I couldn't defend myself."

"No, Raphael," Leo said sternly, " you were betrayed by someone you trusted, your not weak."

"Bu-" Raph started but was interrupted as Leo put a finger on his lips.

"Your are not weak, you are anything but. You are strong, you are talented, and you are beautiful. "

Raph stared at Leo surprised at his last statement. As he opened his mouth to speak Leo leaned forward and cover his lips with his own. Raph froze and Leo tensed expecting to be pushed away and yelled at, but the emerald turtle was soon returning the kiss ferociously.Leo took this as an invitation and looped his arms around Raph pulling him flush to his plastron.They continued to kiss pationatly their lips moving perfectly together, but they soon they had to part for air. Gasping trying to catch his breath Raphael looked up at Leo," well I was sure not expecting that."

"Me neither," Leo replied.
