The background is from Andy Goldsworthy, my favorite modern artist. He makes his art from things found in nature, and his art is subject to the laws of nature. It eventually is destroyed by the tide, or the sun etc. He's a very cool guy, and has a DVD and some books out.Related content

I only found out about Andy Goldsworthy a few months ago but ever since I've been looking at all of his books and they're amazing, especially 'Time'.. He's such an insperation

I totally agree with you. I think the man is a genious. So creative to make such beautiful things in the manner that he does, and the concepts behind them have so many levels.

Yeah, I know exactly what you mean. It's a shame many of them get 'destroyed' by nature, it's all part of it I guess. I'd feel really uneasy putting so much effort into something, only to have it get washed away or melt. Good job he takes pictures

I love Andy Goldworthy now for decades... his stuff is so so photographic and balanced. Awesome guy!

yeah I want to buy his dvd, I saw it and it was really good
