Description
The Alnitak-Class Corvette is a anti-fighter and general anti-rapid-craft. It serves that role with six high speed and high caliber multi-cannons or Personal Defense Cannons (PDCs). These PDCs are situated along the hull in such a way as to be able to fire forwards or backwards without interruption from other gun placements or the hull of the ship itself. So when engaging an enemy from the front or back all six PDCs have line of sight to the target. From the side, three PDCs have line of sight to the target. Also equipped are two medium quad barrel cannon turrets for engagements against larger and slower targets. These however are not the Alnitak's main weaponry and the ship is at a disadvantage in these types of engagements as there are fewer medium turrets and it is harder from them to have a line of sight to their target.Made in Blender.
