What are the settings on your brush for when you do line art? Be specific!

Specific I can be!
Ok I'm working with photoshop CS5 and I use a brush that is set to only 1px for this. The brush type..
Go Window, Brush presets and it's the 3rd one down from the top. A blurry brush.
It's set so the tablet pressure controls opacity and size. 100% flow and 100% opacity. The mode is just normal.
I set it to 1px to create a different sketchy feel while retaining realism.

I should keep this handy. I really suck at shading and this could be useful some day

Lovely big blurry fuzzy brush, 12% opacity this time for the shading. The hard shading is a darker purple than this, darker than the scales. That was done with the same brush except smaller and on 50% opacity, then the entire layer was made at 60% opacity.

Perfect.
And yes. What brush and color did you use on the lighting? and how do you get the lighting and shading (especially on the head) to smooth out like so and so and so on and so forth.

The brush on the lighting was just as usual: A really huge soft brush that's on 6% opacity and applied over and over again. The colour was white on some parts and on the head it was the color of the skin, just in a brighter purple-blue. With the hard shading I blurred it around the edges and smudged it all over the place down her face.
I didn't use the leaf texture on this either, and filled in the linear with a flat that's slightly darker than the skin to make the face scales.
A lot more work was on Nezurick's scars too, with more colors.
the construction lines for this for the skull were averagely done in this though.
