Now that I look at it though... Hiccup looks creepy in this...

My poor, naive captain. Anyone who has ever been on the internet knows, trolls cannot be frightened off by mere names. Grievously, I regret to inform you that you have been trolled. No self respecting troll has ever let a challenge like this escape. Egregiously, I cannot contain myself, and so you have brought this onto yourself. To this challenge I rise, able and willing, and must ask you only one thing. Beholden unto the first letter of each sentence. How do I work?
Anyway, onto less hilarious business, I actually love this image, it gives a nice impression of older Hiccup, and doesn't look like the generic older hiccup that a lot of deviants are drawing. The only criticisms I have (and they are quite small and unobtrusive) are that he looks a little too tan (with not enough freckles), and the drawing itself isn't fantastic. It's not bad or anything, but some of your other work looks better drawn than this.
But, I really love this, it's great. And you didn't even need the first confirmation, let alone the second and third.

Ah yes now onto the review:
I would agree with everything you have formulated and I am extatic that you have noticed the character development behind this peice. You are appropriate again with your recapitulation of Hiccup's various idiosyncrasies. I also have made an inaccuracy to a rather large extent by not including his prosthetic limb.
But all in all, this is not a finished project, but rather a work in progress. This is just one character design in alot more. The whole objective being, to create a more original Hiccup (which you picked up quite nicely I might add).
Finally, I would agree that honestly, this is not my best work. But it is a first for a Hiccup-Toothless duet peice, that may emerge in the close future of TLNF.

Barmy vengeful Hephaestus! Didn't you know that a warning to trolls is like throwing crack at Lindsay Lohan!?!?! And yes, I pride myself on being a mildly snooty troll, one of the few perks of actually educated, as opposed to a LARGE number of trolls on the internet.
But, I digress, onto the review of my review. First of all, it's ecstatic, piece and a lot (not alot). Just another snooty example. Anyway, I (to be perfectly honest) did not notice Hiccups apparent lack of a prosthesis. In addition, to be succinct, I did think that this piece was an intriguing manifestation of future Hiccups characterisation (albeit looking mildly odd, consequential to his, quite frankly, bizarre head to body to legs ratio) and shed new light on the potential for a "stud Hiccup", until now only dreamed of in crappy fanfiction and fetishists minds.
Thank you for your assertion of my perceptive abilities, and, penultimately, even if this is not your most preeminent work, it still reflects the core value of HTTYD with aplomb, and.
Ultimately, and I earnestly hope that this will not colour your opinion of myself, but, pray tell, good sir, what the hell is TLNF?

Nice job- and that is how Hiccup will look, now! I like how you've filled him out and that he does not seem tall- heroes should be short as well as tall. And the beard fits- Vikings rarely were totally clean shaven. I always imagined myself he would grow a goatee- and that is what you have here.
