This has been amazing so far, with brilliant artwork. I'm kinda curious why they're all nightfuries, but I'm guessing they can do the thought-speaking thing like in Eragon?

There's a special organ in all dragons that they use for "thought-speaking", but it's most prominent in Night Furys.
What Nezurick tried to do to Eli was show him the history of their species using this organ, wich would, if you can imagine, appear like a dream.
Not just communication, but memories can be transferred too when this organ is fully developed.
As ~FjordMustang puts it, it's located in the top of the head, under the two ear things in the middle that are smaller than the big ear sensors.
So yeah, I guess it's like the thought speaking thing in Eragon, only a bit more advanced.
