I wanted to draw Celestia's beginning and end design next to each other. Because of her character change and plot she changes her outfit and looses as well as gains some accessories. I don't want to spoil the story, but Celestia's design gets lighter to represent her character arc.
I actually like Celestia in pastels and light purple even though her main design has grown on me a lot. I am not sure if when she is back in the Aether Kingdom if she will wear a dress or be allowed to wear what she likes.

These are two separate drawings but I put them together in one canvas. I also wanted her poses to reflect her character growth. I feel like the left pose is a bit more reserved, and the one on the left is dreamy and sweet, and more open.

Note: I still want to keep her outfit on the left as her main outfit, like how you see promotional art of Rapunzel with golden hair all over the place but never any with her short brown hair, its like that. This is just a visual of her character arc.
