I usually don’t draw the same thing twice, but I think this is a real improvement over my first version of chibi Ed! Besides chibi Ed is just really cute I drew him for October 3rd. FMA day.

Here are a few words for one of my favorite animes:

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood holds a special place in my heart because of Edward Elric and his story.

I remember the first scene I watched was where Ed and Al were on the island for training, and they learned the meaning of “All is one, one is all.”

One thing I love about Ed is that he taught me that I am not alone with my pain and loss. The episode that spoke to me the most was “Father Before the Grave”, where Ed learns that he didn’t actually bring back his mom with alchemy. The first time I saw that scene it felt to me that Ed really did loose his mom, and that helped me know that Ed and I were connected by the same kind of grief and loss. I also cried a lot after watching that episode.

I also love that Ed is a short character, but he is strong and never gives up. And not to mention, our personalities are pretty close — Ed’s MBTI type is an INTJ.

Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood is one of the greatest animes I have ever seen. Even though there were dark and very emotional moments the whole show was incredible. You should watch the Brotherhood adaptation because it is closest to the original manga. It’s not just “another anime”. In my opinion, this is the anime that no other anime can surpass.
