This is my top three over the most used characters on DA,I did this real quick, I never draw these characters anyway.
Nr. 1 : Sonic the hedgehog – I liked the show and the games are ok, but hey what is up with all the fanart?
Nr. 2 : Random wolfes seems to be very popular, and a lot of people on DA only
does wolfes – I can understand that though, because those have a beautiful physic.
Nr. 3 : Transformers… What can I say, the film is good and I newer wached the show. The concept is cool, and I guess that is why there is a lot who does those

XD Very funny, but people draw these Characters to show their affection and care for these characters. They show what type of cartoon character they like, and to make other friends of the same intrest of that specific character. At the same time, I do agree, people use these characters alittle to much on DA. I like the thin legs thing^^

It's ok, but not so creative to make a beast boy/ ratchet or wolf OC. There are exceptions, but usually people just change the colour.

At the time I did this there were a lot of transformers with their typical chest up potraits, and there really was a lot of OC's, I don't know if it is still the case.
