I've been meaning to do a decent Eastern-style dragon for the longest, and I must say that I'm finally pleased with the results. I've always liked this style of dragon more than the western style, I'm particularly happy with the facial detail on him...so..so very many scales, my hand hurts.Related content

You've done this chinese dragon in a very realistic way. Just like in your other works, the detail is top notch and really brings the creature to life. Kinda like you were drawing it from still life =3

Yeah, I was really trying to make it look like it might actually exist, used some reptilian anatomy to pull it off, thank you, I enjoyed the detail work on this one myself.

Seriously it's just a fluke...ah hah hah, actually I used a little bit of reptile reference for the face (mostly the jaw) and just winged it the rest of the way.
