This is hard to do around in my part of the country. The drought has dried up several lakes around here to the point the docks are over dry land.
If he found water at the end of a dock, he would drop her off and she'd go...splat...and the water would go just about to her calves. Or beneath the rim of the bucket.
During normal rainfall years, though...yes. Awesome peril.
