Hmm....I'm not super thrilled with how this came out, but I'm sick of working on it. I don't normally do a lot of backgrounds in my drawings, so I'm not particularly good at them. Guess that's why we practice!Micron pens and India ink. 4/2015.

Yes, I'm a BIG fan of webbed fingers on mermaids...especially when the rest of their bodies are so exotic/aquatic looking such as this beauty! Β Webbed toes look cool on their sisters, the Naiads, Nixies, & Sea Elves.Β

I think this is incredibly gorgeous! I adore how the eye naturally travels down the tail, and the intricate amount of detailing in this. Absolutely stunning work!

This looks really nice! I think maybe the rock in the back should've been a little lighter, so that it appears to be farther away. But that's just a minor thing, I absolutely love the design of the tail and the composition and use of colours is pretty cool too. Awesome!

Thank you! Yeah, I had serious struggles with perspective in the background! I even had to remove a chunk of something with an exacto knife and sand my paper down to paint over it! O.o
