AKEUFG'OEURFB V'ROEIQFBVL OTLOkay, my opinion on MLPFiM: First two episodes are ace, it's like Sailor Moon or some other animΓ© but with DESUPONIES. After that, it just... gets kind of boring. Don't get me wrong, though, the voices, animation, and dialogue are great. It's just that after that wonderful pilot it degenerates into a plot-of-the-week style show, and I would much prefer if it didn't. We've got every show on Nickelodeon for that.
I mean, come on. PONIES WITH STORY ARC, HELL YES.
Anyway, I guess I'll say that I like it. I just don't think it's the amazing show that everyone says is saving modern cartoons.

Actually, season 2 and 3 are out now, and in season 3 an old villain is actually returning.

While it has more continuity than most shows, it's still pretty much a "plot of the day" type thing... at least, that's what I gathered. That's not a bad thing, really, it's just a matter of my own preference.

Fun fact: Laura Faust wanted the show to have an ongoing story arc, but Hasbro axed that because they wanted people to watch any episode in any order (save for the pilot, of course).
