So, Fanfiction.net introduced the ability to upload cover images for stories today, and I had to act on that. This is the one for my beloved File Not Found. ([link] )It's simple, but I think it fits. It's actually a remake of an old "cover" I did (and didn't finish), but more... melancholy, I guess. I don't know, I wasn't going to impress, I just wanted to utilize the feature.
If you're actually interested in the story (!!!), it's about the societal relationship between PokΓ©mon and humans or something like that. It touches on things like the language barrier, equality, and wide-eyed idealism. I think. It's probably an allegory for something, but hey, it's a fanfic, not an English class novel. The first few chapters are pretty terrible in my opinion, but I think it picks up after the initial stuff.
Well, either way, it's a picture of the best thing that's ever happened to me. Hooray.
Edit: Whoops, uploaded the wrong one. Nothing different, really, just stripes.

You already know I've read it (>.< awesome!!). and this cover fits the story really well--I really like it.
you know, I've always wondered, why did you pick 'File Not Found' as your story's title? I'm probably not thinking deeply enough--or maybe I'm thinking too deep--but I don't see how the title is related to the story.

The title was never really super-fitting or deep to begin with. ^_^; For the longest time it was called "Slickky's Story", actually. As the story grew (and endless sequels and backstories were made), I decided I needed an overall title for the whole saga, which later turned into the title for this segment alone. (So I suppose its true title is File Not Found: Season One.
The bottom line, though? It's a remnant from 2008 I can't fathom of changing now. I have no idea what else I could call it, at this point.

I don't think I'll post any on FFN. The sequels aren't really fanfic-y past a certain point (relying solely on the original characters and concepts). In fact, I'd even say that the only thing keeping them from being original fiction is the fact that the characters are PokΓ©mon.

To be honest I thought the tab that said 'File Not Found' meant the page didn't load enough.
If I ever happen to get the chance I should read it though, it sounds very interesting.

thanks for this!! your fanfic is fantastic, i read the entirety of it within maybe 4 or so hours. your storymaking skills are really amazing! the ending was maybe a bit too abrupt for my taste, but the characterization and the ending you wove were extremely satisfying as well. much love for kari. amaazing job writing the thing, ;a; lots of respect!!
the picture, as well, is really atmospheric and cute aa kevin is such a cutie, even looking as melancholy as this. <33 i really like how you toned down the colors to create the mood!
a question that's been nagging at me, though .. i kept wondering why the fic's title is file not found? is it because kevin went missing in the storage? it makes me wonder whether kevin was an actual pokemon in an actual game that somehow glitched out and disappeared. well, anyway, great job! ;v; <3

I chose File Not Found as the title because of the missing thing, yeah. For the longest time it was called "Slickky's Story", but that sounded dumb to me so I changed it. (Good thing too, since nobody really calls him Slickky.
