I agree with you, I usually battle Tom Phan ALL. THE. TIME. I'm nominating him as best boss character, best voice acting performed by the lovely Augustin Chemelle, best lines, best moments, best rabbid (right after Rabbid Peach and Spawny), best singer, all of this stuff (Man, is it just me or am I referencing Spinel from the SU movie, even though there was a reference to that while combining the two relics and a rabbid)

It's like the Great Mighty Poo in modern form! I was actually planning a future Platformers episode parodying the Phantom of the Opera, but with this guy here as the lead!

It has the Platformers trying to stop him, meanwhile Peach takes the role of Christine as she tries to become a star, with the Phantom trying to flirt by playing organ in the basement and bringing a Yoshi into a sewer for Peach to ride on (in the book it was a horse). I take a lot of stabs at the play and especially the crappy Schumacher movie.

The plot is that the opera house is rumored to be haunted by a phantom. Then this girl named Christine wants to be a opera star and then gets like three guys wanting her lovin'. The phantom is all angst-angst you-will-be-mine and goes into crazy murder mode by sabotaging the plays and start messing and even killing some of the stagehands. It's more about the style than the substance.
The movie is garbage though. Christine isn't an awful singer, but she's not suited for opera. The phantom cannot sing at all and the whole movie is just stupid. And the for some reason dub over the people who can sing, and yet don't dub the people who can't sing. :/ What's with that?

Oh! I see! Well, if you are going to be going along with that and want to stay true to the games, have the PhantomΒ never shut up about his spotlight. I swear to God, it's the only thing he ever talks about in battle. XD

I always do wonder how Nintendo first reacted when they first saw his scene and his singing. Like, I know Nintendo helped develop it alongside Ubisoft, but did they help on creating him, got the shock of their lives seeing it or?... Because I like picturing Shigeru seeing it and go absolutely "mad lad!" over Mario getting called out! Or something similarly amusing!~ We've gotten used to it by now, but Phantom still is pretty much the only one who actually talks with his actual voice out of everyone in this game!
