I created an arc that showed a younger K.Rool.
Here's what all the characters in that arc look like (or at least how they looked at the time of the arc's events).
It's kind of funny how we both share the same headcanon that K.Rool didn't always have that disfigured eye.

Cute idea, and I bet back then him and Cranky Kong AKA original arcade Donkey Kong were pals. In Donkey Kong Land, Cranky and K. Rool still have a bit of a friendship or respect for each other, despite how K. Rool steals DK's bananas. The plot of the game actually involves Cranky Kong involving K. Rool, Donkey Kong, and Diddy Kong in an adventure. Cranky makes a fourth wall bet to Donkey Kong and Diddy that they can't repeat their previous adventure of retrieving the bananas again (DKC) but this time on Game Boy. To make it official, he gets K. Rool to steal the bananas again and position his henchmen on DK Island. This must show that Cranky and K. Rool had a partnership or friendship of some sorts back in the days of them being young.

(Also, while I was halfway reading it, I thought you were gonna mention that one episode from the DKC Cartoon about Cranky and K. Rool being friends back in the day. XD Just thought that was something worth sharing.)
