You're welcome! Glo was another character I couldn't really find much information about, so I wasn't sure what pose to go for, but seeing Poolparty made things fall into place.

Haha, yes! I did good then. See, this is why I preferred to do this digitally. It's easier if you can flip the sketch over.

Also, yes, I chose Daisuke because from what I've seen, the poor kid gets the least attention every time someone draws your characters. But I wanted to draw him having a Bad Time, and then I thought that kind of sucks, too... so I did this to draw both the Bad Time and a more badass moment.

It's understandable for him to not receive very much attention from others, as my gallery has featured him very little thus far. Trust me tho, that will change soon. Honestly I've been very surprised how much people are drawing Anita, I was really expecting Cherry to be the popular one.

Well, to be fair, Anita looks unbelievably fun to draw. I'd do it myself if I weren't always so concerned about balancing out the attention... I'm typically gonna choose the OC that hasn't been drawn as much.
Maybe it's also that Cherry looks a little more 'standard anime girl' by comparison?

Each one of them is very fun to draw. But I know what you mean about balance... It can be a struggle sometimes.
I designed them all with differentiating body types, and Cherry in particular I also designed a bit differently. Perhaps it's hard to see because she's a cartoon, but I opted to give her the petite build. No boobs, no butt. The outfit she wears is kind of designed to make her appear curvy when she really isn't. Perhaps people just write it off as "skinny", but that comes off as very black and white to me. Sure I design a lot of characters who are thinner, but they're also usually average. Cherry is that size that may be a bit jarring how tiny they are, like dang girl eat a sandwich. Is it just me who knows people like that? Woops, tangent.

Right, okay. Yeah, I couldn't really tell, but I feel like that's probably because so damn many girls in 2-D media are designed to look that thin. It's somehow totally standard.
(Also, not just you, I've met people approximately that size and build too)

To be honest, I went through a bunch of them to see how often they had been drawn before, intending to pick one that was done only once or not at all. And then I decided that, since that one was your Sona OC according to the description, he might be more meaningful than some of the others. I would have done Sam otherwise, I think? But that was because I kinda like drawing neurotic characters freaking out a little.

And yeah, I definitely still do. SP edits seem to be very common in beginner pixel artists actually. That's how I got into pixel art, essentially: I just made a bunch of sprite edits based on OCs/classmates. Then after that I did some of other characters, and when I started doing Psychonauts characters, their appearance was so radically weird and different from the SP sprites that I'd be doing more and more by hand, without editing. I improved from there.
Of course, I don't really use those OCs anymore nowadays, and I haven't seen most of those classmates in years either.

Excellent! Though I have to admit, since he was one of the last ones, and I had some trouble with the pose, I sort of got a bit lazy in places... Or, rather, I was getting a bit tired and messed up on the sketch... Well, anyway, if you like it, it must be all right.

You're welcome. In case you'd request anything from anyone in the future, though, I'd really suggest making or posting something that'll give a bit more info about your characters' personalities. TESLA seems like she might be robotic/android, but I wasn't even sure about that much.

I had only the appearance to work with (and your Zelda reaction meme), so it's sort of a pretty standard pose, she's not doing much (Actually, I thought of making it more of a 'cliche anime girl pose' but I decided against that).

Ah, I'll keep that in mind. I actually had plans to rework at lot of OC bios awhile back, but never got around to doing so. I'll be sure to work on them whenever I get more time. You're correct with TESLA being robotic (A cyborg to be more precise).

I'm very glad you do! Obviously I'm already seeing all the mistakes I made, but I hope it's still all right for everyone. They are supposed to be just sketches after all...
