Hmm, you use SAI right? The soft strokes of the fur, do you use the Watercolour brush or do you just modify the Pen tool? Oil maybe, idk. I can't seem to get the pressure sensitivity relate to the size of the brush for the water one, but might just be cus I haven't got the paid version of SAI. : V

I do, but I use a paint brush for most of it ; o This is what I used for 90% of this -Β Paintbrush Β ( i dont change the settings often but some of them might be useful to change for harder/softer edges )
for the size thing, water/blend brushes dont actually let you change the size via pressure. idk why, it just doesn't, so you have to manually make the brush smaller and bigger.
