Description
This took about 6 hrs. (so glad it's finally spring break!) It also has so many layers, my best guess would be 150 to 200. The hair is painted by me.
I enjoy any amount of critique, and what you liked/didn't like about my picture. I am always trying to improve so any tips or links to tutorials to help me improve is also welcomed.

The leaves realy gave moreΒ dynamism to the image. my high school teacher would love this picture Β

The pink cherry blossom petals adds to the Japanese style.Β The light highlight added to the blade makes a nice touch and the hair additions to the stock imageΒ are very well done.Β The shadow you added to the stock image is an important step to making the image more seamless (good job).Β One negative however, is the visible heel is noticeably shortened giving the pose a visual disconnect that it doesn't quite fit.
Overall though, beautifully done with a dreamlike Japanese style.

I really don't know much of photomanipulation, but...
I love the colours, well, the light pink is just pretty and the black dress creates a nice contrast. You have done a great job with making the background, I think, the colours look realistic enough even though you've obviously changed them a lot. Overall it's a nice pic.
There's a lot of improvement to be done, though. The shadow, I think, could be a lot shorter, it looks too big compared to the background. The hair, as others have mentioned, could use some work, too. Other than that, what looks odd is the foreground. Her feet are quite sharp (uhh, is that the right word? English is not my native language, do you use that word when talking of photos? As in it isn't out of focus), while the ground, not so much. It creates an odd contrast, really, and makes it look like it was just cut out of a photo and stuck there (which it was, of course, but... you get my point...)
This is probably a lot better than anything I could manage, though. x) I don't know how hard making these things is, but probably not very easy. Sorry if I concentrated more on the bad things. Just keep practicing!

Thank you for your feedback. The shadow was odd and hard because of the stupid heals she was wearing!!!! (so I can focus more on that). Her feet are easily explainable, I thought it would be better for the leaves too be blurred to give an idea of her stepping on them. Without the blur it looks really weird and she doesn't fit in at all. But I could work on that effect to give it a more realistic look.

Overall, this is a well-made composite. The colors blend seamlessly, pale pink and white, with a dash of black. The model is a bit out of place, and the hair definitely could use some improvement. It looks fake, though I understand that hair can be quite difficult to portray. Keep at it.Β Β

I agree with you on the hair. It was the first I painted the hair completely and I'm still getting used to it, especially the ends. Thanks for the critique!

Six hours, and it was well worth the time and effort! Β The lady looks so graceful and dainty and at the same time strong and powerful. Β What caught my attention to this picture and what I like most about it is how beautiful all the pink tones are: the cherry blossoms all around her, the patterns on her dress, the blush on her cheek. Β They all go together harmoniously. Β And the black dress, shoes, and eyeliner she's wearing provide a great contrast for all the light pink and they make her stand out. Β
Awesome job, and Favorited!

This is a really great photo manipulation. Everything looks like they just belong in this one image, and I like how the pale, dark-clad warrior woman just stands out against the pink woodlands.
The only thing I critique on is her hair. It's the only thing that stands out due to the ends looking rather straw-like. And maybe it's just me but, the woman doesn't look proportional to the trees, like maybe she's a tad too large and the background should beΒ bigger in scale by a smidge.
Well done Commented on behalf of

This has instantly caught my eye. I like the way she looks so pale in this photomanipulation, makes this artwork really stand out thanks to pink background! I also enjoy the contrast between her black dress and her skin colour The painted hair looks amazing, i like the way it flows and it is simply well done, love the detail
Falling leaves are also a nice touch, it brings special atmosphere. Overall lovely work! Well deserved +fav from me
